Iestājies Bibliotēku institūtā. Bijis Revolucionāro krievu mākslinieku asociācijas prezidija loceklis. Apcietināts 1937.gadā. Nošauts 1938.gadā.

Member of the Revolutionary Movement, in Communist Party since 1927. Studied at the drawing and painting studio of Riga People's College. He was imprisoned. In 1935 he emigrated to the USSR. He was a member of the presidium of the Association of Revolutionary Russian Artists. Arrested in 1937. Shot dead in 1938.
